1. Terms of Service

1.1 Acceptance. By accessing or using the Paradise Handball League ("PHL") website and registration portal (the "Service"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you must immediately stop using the Service.

1.2 Eligibility. The Service is intended for individuals aged 10 years and above. By registering, you represent and warrant that you meet the age requirement. Minors must have consent from a parent or legal guardian.

1.3 Open Registration. Players register through the open registration form. No player account, Gmail login, or password is required.

1.4 Registration Data. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process. Providing false or misleading information may result in immediate disqualification and data deletion.

1.5 Fees. The registration fee is ₹500 per player and is non-refundable once confirmed by the organizing committee. Registration is treated as paid only after server-side Razorpay payment verification.

1.6 Conduct. You agree not to: (a) attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service; (b) interfere with or disrupt the Service; (c) submit duplicate or fraudulent registrations; (d) use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

1.7 Intellectual Property. All content, designs, logos, trademarks, and software on this website are the exclusive property of Paradise Handball League and its developer (SyedMutaib). You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written permission.

1.8 Limitation of Liability. The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, PHL, the Baramulla Handball Association, and the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, arising from your use of the Service.

1.9 Indemnification. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PHL, the Baramulla Handball Association, the developer (SyedMutaib), and their affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

1.10 Modifications. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

1.11 Termination. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at our sole discretion, without notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms.

2. Privacy Policy

2.1 Data Controller. The data controller is Paradise Handball League, operated by Baramulla Handball Association under the J&K Handball Association. Website developed and maintained by SyedMutaib.

2.2 Data We Collect. We collect the following personal information when you register: full name, age, gender, Aadhaar card number (encrypted), blood group, phone number, email address, residential address, district, team/academy affiliation, emergency contact details, player photo, playing position, jersey size, playing hand, experience level, achievements, payment status, and Razorpay transaction identifiers.

2.3 How We Use Your Data. Your data is used exclusively for: (a) processing and managing your league registration; (b) communicating with you regarding the league (confirmations, updates, schedule); (c) verifying identity and preventing duplicate entries; (d) compiling league statistics and records; (e) improving the Service.

2.4 Data Storage. Your data is stored securely on Appwrite cloud infrastructure. Aadhaar numbers are encrypted before storage. Normal dashboards and standard exports display only masked Aadhaar values. Full Aadhaar is restricted to explicit administrator-secured reports. We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

2.5 Data Sharing. We may share your data with: (a) the Baramulla Handball Association and J&K Handball Association for league administration; (b) J&K Sports Council for official records; (c) law enforcement or government authorities if required by applicable law. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

2.6 Data Retention. Registration data is retained for the duration of the league season and for a period of up to 3 years thereafter for administrative and legal compliance purposes. You may request deletion of your data by contacting us at mutaibstudio@gmail.com.

2.7 Your Rights. Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. Requests should be sent to mutaibstudio@gmail.com. We may require identity verification before processing requests.

2.8 Third-Party Services. The Service uses Appwrite (cloud backend), Razorpay (payment processing), Google Fonts (typography), and may use email delivery services. These third-party services have their own privacy policies that govern their use of your data.

2.9 Children's Privacy. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 10 years of age without parental consent. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 10 without proper consent, we will take steps to delete that information.

3. Cookie & Local Storage Policy

3.1 What We Use. This website may use essential browser storage or cookies required by infrastructure and payment providers. The player registration form does not require an authentication session and does not auto-save Aadhaar or form drafts.

3.2 Essential Storage. Appwrite and Razorpay may use essential storage needed to deliver backend and payment functionality.

3.3 Registration Submission. Registration data is transmitted only when you submit the form to create a secure payment order.

3.4 Third-Party. Google Fonts may set cookies or use browser caching as part of font delivery. These are governed by Google's privacy policy.

3.5 Consent. By using the Service, you consent to the use of local storage and any cookies set by essential third-party services as described above. You may clear your browser's local storage at any time through your browser settings.

4. Disclaimer

4.1 The developer (SyedMutaib) provides this website as a service to the Baramulla Handball Association. The developer is not responsible for decisions made by the league organizers regarding player selection, fee disputes, or event cancellations.

4.2 The developer makes no guarantees regarding uptime, availability, or error-free operation of the Service. Use of the Service is at your own risk.

4.3 All disputes arising from use of this Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Baramulla, Jammu & Kashmir.
